Youth Mentoring
Are you looking for a volunteering opportunity where you can be a role model and make a difference?
Then consider becoming a Mentor and have some fun at the same time! Kildonan's Youth Services team
is now recruiting male and female volunteers to become mentors for young people.
As the Mentoring Program Coordinator says
"The adults of tomorrow need your help today.
By becoming a mentor you have the opportunity to help guide and support a young person by listening, sharing,
developing a friendship, and being a positive role model".
After completing an initial training program, mentors are matched with a disadvantaged young person.
The program involves regular meetings and contact with a young person, often providing opportunities
to participate in fun activities.
Current volunteer mentors in the program come from a diverse range of lifestyles and cultural backgrounds,
which has enhanced the program's capacity to support diversity.
Refer to the position description below for additional information about this volunteering opportunity
or contact the Epping Office on 8401 0100 for more information.
